Ensuring clean air requires precision, and BGE employs individuals who focus on safely providing clean, healthy indoor air environments because air quality is crucial.We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Director of Manufacturing to join our team in Edmonton. The Director of Manufacturing is a leadership position responsible for operational excellence, productivity, and strategic growth within the manufacturing team. This role integrates manufacturing performance with BGEs strategic objectives, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement. The Director will implement safety protocols, introduce new technologies, and optimize production processes for efficiency. Leading a cross-functional team, the individual will ensure the delivery of quality products, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement. This role is vital in advancing BGEs mission, safety standards, and core values within the production environment.The day-to-day responsibilities include:Strategic Focus Develop and execute long-term manufacturing strategies aligned with BGEs organizational goals. Set performance targets and lead initiatives to enhance production capacity, scalability, and agility.Reporting and Analytics Manage annual business plans, departmental KPIs, and budgets. Monitor performance indicators to meet production targets and drive operational improvements.Team Leadership Build a strong, values-driven culture emphasizing safety, accountability, respect, and collaboration. Mentor and lead a diverse team, promoting engagement and professional growth.Safety Leadership Promote a proactive safety culture. Enhance safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.Transformation and Technology Serve as the subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementation, collaborating with the ERP team during discovery, design, and deployment.Operational Excellence Oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with quality management systems, safety protocols, regulations, and standards.
