Marie Innovation Centres (SSMIC) mission. In this pivotal leadership role, the ED will develop and execute strategic initiatives, foster an entrepreneurial and innovative organizational culture, and strengthen relationships with community stakeholders to enhance regional growth. This position requires a visionary leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy: Collaborate with the Board to design and implement a strategic plan that aligns with organizational goals. Act as the primary spokesperson, elevating SSMICs visibility and impact in the community. Foster a positive, adaptable organizational culture that thrives on innovation and change.Operational & Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with client, funder, and Board expectations. Partner with the Finance team to develop budgets, manage resources, and pursue funding opportunities.Community Engagement & Advocacy: Cultivate meaningful relationships with community leaders, funders, and key partners, including Indigenous communities. Advocate for SSMICs mission, fostering collaboration across sectors to drive innovation and regional development.Program Development: Oversee the planning, execution, and improvement of impactful programs and initiatives.
