Join to apply for the Quality Platform Lead role at Waukesha Gas Engines.The Quality Platform Lead will oversee and lead quality initiatives related to the Waukesha product line. This includes managing quality activities supported by engineering, sourcing, and services to ensure timely resolution of product quality defects and non-conformities.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage launch and change control of platform developments, including new engine releases.Monitor and improve Quality Key Performance Indicators for engine platforms.Lead issue screening and continuous improvement processes.Drive quality plans and support production targets.Perform servicing and packaging audits.Control and manage quality costs supported by management.Lead reviews on quality issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.Analyze field failures and reliability data to identify top failure modes and coordinate resolutions.Promote Lean Six Sigma methodologies to achieve business goals.Manage multiple projects within tight deadlines, maintaining good stakeholder relationships.Technical Qualifications/RequirementsBachelors degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with 3 years; or 9 years of experience without a degree.Experience with combustion engine development or similar industrial products.Knowledge of product management for complex, high-cost technical products.Strong background in Lean, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis.Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma is a plus.Familiarity with Quality and Reliability methodologies like MTBF, FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, customer-focused, enthusiastic.Willingness to travel as needed.Additional DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Quality AssuranceIndustries: Renewable Energy, Semiconductor Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
