Weekend coverage may be required.Location: Humber River Health, Wilson SiteLabour Group: OPSEU 577Reporting Relationship: Manager, Cardio-DiagnosticHourly Rate: $35.93 - $41.37Responsibilities (include But Are Not Limited To)Provides optimum quality non-invasive diagnostic cardiac testing that will include Cardiac Stress Testing, ECG, Holter Set up and Scanning, Ambulatory Blood Pressure set up and reporting and Simple SpirometryPerforms safe and relevant diagnostic examinations, testing, and adjustments with respect to cardiac implanted electronic devices (CIEDs) - this includes, but not limited to, pacemakers, ICDs, implantable loop recorders.Collaborates with physicians to address any concerns/issues identified during device interrogation (ie: troubleshooting)Assists in CIED implantation and operating analyzer software/programmers. Responds to emergency situations appropriately, if the need arises.Participates in patient and family education post implant.Safely operates and troubleshoots device clinic equipment, and demonstrates concise and accurate documentation and adherence to unit and hospital policies and procedures.RequirementsCertification with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT)/Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist required, and demonstration of good standing.Successful completion of a cardiac diagnostic course or equivalentCurrent BCLS provider certification required.Certified to perform exercise stress testing, holter monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and cardiac device interrogation and programming asset.Experience in advanced arrhythmia interpretation, pacemaker care and advanced cardiac knowledgeOR experience is an asset.
