Job Title: Global Gender Equity Specialist This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of gender equality in Honduras. Job Description: The successful candidate will work with our partner organization, Centro de Estudios Martimos (CEM), to develop and implement community and institutional gender policies. This will involve analyzing and reviewing existing policies, as well as preparing training plans for staff and community members. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and review Draft Institutional Diagnosis Conduct an analysis and revision of Draft Institutional Policy of Gender and the Institutional Strategic Plan to align normative instruments Develop a Training Plan aimed at communities and staff of the organization About the Project: The project aims to improve the economic and social well-being of marginalized groups, particularly women and girls, in developing countries. It focuses on advancing gender equality and social inclusion, improving economic resilience, and delivering progress on climate action. Support Package: As a volunteer, you will receive a modest monthly living allowance, accommodation, return airfare and visa/work permit costs, cost of required vaccinations, antimalarial medication, and health insurance, pre-departure training, in-country orientation, and reintegration debriefing.
