This multi-year, multi-billion-dollar project will set new standards for safety, sustainability, and innovation in underground storage.As part of a new project office in Ontario, were seeking a Junior Project Manager (Project Controls) to play a pivotal role in this landmark initiative. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate in reviewing, developing and implementing the project controls plan for this high-impact, long-term underground storage projectSupport the creation and continuous improvement of project controls plans that align with Thyssen Minings high standards and the collaborative Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approachTrack project progress using PowerBI dashboards and other tools to provide critical data-driven insightsAssist in managing project budgets, schedule, cost forecasts, and vendor/client invoicingCreate and maintain project WBS, CBS, and OBS frameworks to ensure rigorous planning and reportingSupport project coordination across risk management, procurement, change management, and resource-loaded schedulesWork closely with external stakeholders, always prioritizing best for project outcomesTransition seamlessly between the field-based perspective and the demands of an office environment What Were Looking For5+ years of experience in project controls or similar roles in mining or construction environmentsBackground in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or EngineeringFamiliarity with collaborative delivery models (IPD, JV, Alliance, DBFM)Proficiency in PowerBI dashboards and progress reportingExperience processing timesheets, managing project finances, and understanding how to drive project successProven ability to process project timesheets and maintain detailed labor hour recordsA collaborative spirit, exceptional organizational skills, and the drive to contribute to a project of national significanceWillingness to be part of an office-based environment for the next 3-5 years while leveraging field-based experience Why Join This Opportunity?Work on a once-in-a-generation project that shapes Canadas energy futureCollaborate with leading experts in mining, construction, and project deliveryThrive in a culture built on safety, integrity, and sustainabilityEnjoy the flexibility of a hybrid office arrangement and a team that values your expertise Interested?
