Reporting to the Vice President Architecture and Cyber Security the Director Cyber Security will be the first line of defense for safeguarding the confidentiality integrity and availability of Cineplex data systems and services. You will define the strategic priorities for the Cyber Security team and lead them in daily cyber incident response function as well as threat management activities. You will also lead in the evolution of processes policies and tools to ensure the ongoing enhancement of Cineplexs Cyber Security capabilities. NOTE : This is a hybrid role based out of the Cineplex Head Office at 1303 Yonge St Toronto Responsibilities : Manage the definition and day-to-day operations of the Cyber Security program including policies workflows tools metrics and reporting Lead and mentor a team of Cyber Security Analysts including task assignments priorities skills development and the delivery of strategic projects Serve as a SME on threat Intelligence and conduct research on emerging threats and identify and deploy preventative solutions Lead the Cyber Security Team to own and manage key capabilities including EDR and Advanced Threat Protection SIEM SAST DAST WAF PAM Support the collaboration between Security IT Operations Legal and Risk teams to ensure alignment Contribute to maintaining Cineplexs security privacy and crisis management policies Qualifications : Undergraduate degree required preferably in Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related discipline Industry recognized certification (e.g. CISSP CRISC GCFA CISM CISA PCI QSA / ISA PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred Experience developing communicating and implementing cybersecurity or technology strategies Deep technical or operational experience in cybersecurity Experience with a variety of cybersecurity disciplines and topics including Systems / Network Administration Windows Clients / Servers SQL Linux (ESX VMWare MS Virtual Servers) Demonstrated experience working in hybrid on-prem and cloud environments Effective communicator who is able to apply strong written and oral communications skills across varying levels of the organization with an ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
