Job Description

Our client, a well-established general contractor with nearly 30 years in the industry, is seeking a Senior Site Superintendent to lead large-scale tenant improvement (TI) projects across the Lower Mainland. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with experience overseeing TI projects in the $10M$15M+ range, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:Manage all on-site activities from mobilization to turnover, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards are metCoordinate all subtrades, materials, and equipment on siteWork closely with the Project Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication between office and fieldMaintain accurate site documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and progress trackingBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and municipal officialsDrive project performance while mentoring junior site staff as needed Ideal Candidate Profile:10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years as a Site SuperintendentProven track record delivering large-scale TI projects ($10M$15M+) on time and on budgetStrong knowledge of construction sequencing, safety procedures, and subtrade managementExperience working in live, occupied environments and with corporate clients (e.g., office, retail, or institutional interiors)Proficient in Procore, Site Docs, Smartsheet, and Microsoft TeamsExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to represent the company professionally on complex, high-profile sites Why this Firm?Competitive salary up to $140K depending on experienceComprehensive benefits package for you and your familyAnnual profit-sharing program for all employeesUse of modern construction management tools (Procore, Smartsheet, Building Connected, etc.)Strong internal support and clear career advancement pathwaysCollaborative, down-to-earth team culture with long-standing employee retentionInterested candidates are encouraged to send their resumes in Word document format to alex.ciotoiu@torustalent.com.
