Job Description

Job Title: Child Development Program Manager Summary: The Child Development Program Manager plays a vital role in advancing the mission and strategic goals of our organization. This individual is responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of child development programs at multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: * Foster a comprehensive continuum of mental health services for infants, young children, and their families* Develop and maintain efficient systems and effective communication strategies that enhance collaboration across programs and departments* Ensure that all programs adhere to service goals, meet standards, and comply with regulations* Lead client intake and assessment processing, collaborate with healthcare and social service partners, and coordinate holistic care that prioritizes developmental and emotional needs* Develop and implement revenue-generating initiatives to support and expand services Required Skills and Qualifications: * Master''s Degree in Social Work or Psychology, and registered membership with relevant professional organizations* At least 5 years work experience in a community-based setting providing child development support to families* Supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized setting, including familiarity with labor relations collective bargaining agreements* Certification in infant early mental health or training specific to infant mental health interventions* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, ability to solve complex problems creatively and effectively, coupled with empathy and compassion* Experience managing programs that promote equity and inclusion* Skilled in program evaluation and the use of metrics to guide improvements* Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and resource allocation* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills* Ability to build and maintain clinical and collegial relationships with diverse communities* Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including government agencies and non-profit organizations* Understanding and implementation of anti-oppressive practice and anti-racist framework* Current Vulnerable Sector Screening, or ability to obtain VSS* Ability to speak a second language is an asset* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook* Knowledge of relevant software and databases used in program management and reporting* Familiarity with accreditation processes and standards* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage time and multiple priorities effectively Benefits: * Dynamic work environment and career advancement opportunities* Opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of innovative programs and services* Competitive salary and benefits package* Professional development opportunities, including training and education* Collaborative and supportive work environment* Opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization
