Our client is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Marine Biologist to join their Marine Services Group.Key Responsibilities:Lead marine biological assessments, habitat restoration, and environmental impact studiesPlan and conduct marine field surveys (e.g., habitat mapping, species inventories, water quality monitoring)Analyze data and prepare clear, well-organized technical reportsManage project budgets, schedules, and deliverablesProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staffCoordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and project successQualifications:Degree in Marine Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field (M.Sc. preferred)Registered (or eligible) as an RPBio in British ColumbiaMinimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in environmental consultingStrong knowledge of marine ecosystems, environmental permitting, and impact assessment processesProven experience with marine construction monitoring, water/sediment quality monitoring, habitat and species assessments, and regulatory complianceStrong project management, organization, and leadership abilities
