Your New Role : As the Mechanical Project Manager, youll play a pivotal role as the main liaison between stakeholders, our office, project sites, and our dedicated crew. Your leadership will set an example for the project team. Heres what youll be responsible for Project Scheduling: Craft and maintain a comprehensive project schedule, emphasizing critical path activities to ensure timely completion. Budget and Deadlines: Keep a watchful eye on project finances, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and meeting deadlines. On-Site Coordination: Collaborate closely with Foremen and Superintendents, providing clear direction and support. Change Management: Handle additional work requests and changes, submitting accurate quotes and coordinating drawings. Financial Tracking: Monitor job costs and prepare insightful reports for review by the Ownership Group. Adaptability: Be ready to tackle other duties as needed to keep our projects running smoothly. What Youll Need to Succeed: Were seeking a candidate with the following qualifications: Effective Communication: Strong communication skills are essential, especially when working with diverse stakeholders. Deadline-Driven Attitude: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand the importance of meeting project milestones. Experience: Ideally, you have 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on local construction projects. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Bluebeam and the Microsoft Suite, with some exposure to AutoDesk, Trimble, and Procore. Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, CET certification, or Project Management Training would be advantageous.
