This role requires deep expertise in Apple ecosystem administration, security policy enforcement, automation, and API integration.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing over 85,000 Apple devices and must be highly proficient in scripting, JAMF Pro APIs, and large-scale deployment strategies.Key Responsibilities:Device Management: Deploy, configure, and manage macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices across the enterprise using JAMF Pro.Security Compliance: Enforce encryption, certificates, password policies, and app restrictions to maintain device and data security.Automation: Design and implement automation workflows to streamline device provisioning and lifecycle management.API Integration: Utilize JAMF Pro Classic API and Pro API for data access, reporting, and workflow automation.Scripting: Develop scripts using zsh, bash, and Python for automation and maintenance tasks.Data Handling: Work with JSON and .plist files for configuration and data parsing.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex Apple device and JAMF-related issues in a timely manner.Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors to support enterprise infrastructure and endpoint management.Mandatory Skills:Advanced expertise in JAMF Pro, including automation and API usageExperience managing 85,000+ Apple devicesStrong skills in zsh, bash, and scripting for automationKnowledge of Apple device security (certificates, encryption, compliance)Experience with JSON, .plist files, and device configurationProficiency with JAMF Pro Classic API and JAMF Pro APIGood-to-Have Skills:JAMF 400 Certification or equivalent advanced experience5+ years in Apple device managementExperience managing devices in retail or high-scale enterprise environmentsStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and in team-based environmentsExcellent organizational and attention to detail skills
