At Netcoins, we're on a mission to make it easy for anyone in North America to trade, stake and learn about cryptocurrency in a safe and regulated environment.As a Front End React Native Developer you will be a key member of our development team, responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our core React native mobile application, including guiding and implementing the core front end architecture. You will also play a key role in working with our design team to create a responsive, intuitive and beautiful mobile experience for our customers. You will leverage your extensive experience in mobile frameworks to build well structured, reusable and optimized mobile components and pages. You will be a self starter and able to manage your own efforts to ensure the right choices are made when delivering to deadlines.Your responsibilities will be to:Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, and backend) to drive the delivery of mobile and web features that align with business goals.Integrate and optimize backend API services with front-end mobile applications, ensuring smooth communication and data flow between mobile and web platforms.Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code in React Native and ReactJS (web), utilizing modern best practices, Typescript, and CSS for mobile and web development.Demonstrate your skills as a critical thinker in evaluating and designing solutions to both legacy systems and new features.Work alongside product and design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly mobile experiences, while balancing business and technical requirements.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reduce technical debt, and drive the adoption of best practices for code quality and maintainability.You will have:5+ years of experience in web or mobile development, with a focus on at least 3 years of React Native development and a strong foundation in web technologies.A very high degree of proficiency in React Native, ReactJS, Typescript and HTML.Proficiency in front-end styling using CSS, SCSS, SASS, and modern UI frameworks (Chakra UI, Tailwind CSS), with an eye for mobile-first design.Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes for mobile app deployment across both Android and iOS platforms.Strong attention to detail, with a focus on writing clean, efficient code that ensures a seamless user experience.Experience working with React-based component libraries (e.g., Material UI, Ant Design) and an understanding of their trade-offs and limitations in mobile development.Proficiency working with Redux.Experience architecting modern front end mobile applications.Experience using Storybook to showcase and develop components for web and mobile platforms.Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and an ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.A self starter attitude, a keen interest in personal growth, and a passion for clean and scalable code.Bonus points for:A strong portfolio showcasing both web and mobile projects you have contributed to, ideally with open-source contributions or public GitHub repositories.Experience with writing Unit Tests.A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Contributions to open source projects.A passion for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, with prior experience or a strong interest in Bitcoin or other crypto platforms.Company Benefits:Remote working, with team members across CanadaLaptop provided by the company (Mac)Preferred Crypto Trading Fees for Staff Members on NetcoinsMedical and Dental Benefits from Canada LifeStock Options in BIGG Digital AssetsAnnual Company EventsAwesome Netcoins MerchandiseIf you're ready to make a meaningful impact on the future of cryptocurrency and be part of an innovative, fast-paced team, we'd love to hear from you!
