Courtenay or Salmon Arm, BC (On-site) THE OPPORTUNITY: An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), registered or eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC), to join a dynamic geotechnical engineering team based in Courtenay or Salmon Arm. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and providing mentorship to junior team members. Conducting site visits during the design and construction phases, completing site investigations and field reviews. Providing timely and practical geotechnical input to multidisciplinary project teams. Preparing project proposals. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (Geological or Civil) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC). 5+ years of professional engineering experience. Proven experience in slope stability analysis, geotechnical investigations (including test pitting and drilling), and design for land and resource development projects. Proficient in geotechnical modeling software, with a preference for slope stability and/or pile assessment tools. Client-focused with a positive, professional attitude and strong relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to engage effectively at all organizational levels Physically capable and comfortable working outdoors with the ability to undertake occasional extended field assignments (typically 2-3 days at a time, occasionally up to one week). Strong technical writing skills.
