Location: 24 Colonnade Road, Ottawa ONSchedule: Daytime, Monday to FridayStarting Salary: $87,474/yearWe are currently recruiting for an Instructional Designer to work in person at our headquarters in Ottawa, ON.What you will be doingReporting to the Manager, Learning Centre, the Instructional Designer develops accessible, engaging, and high-quality learning experiences across in-person, blended, and online formats that align with organizational priorities.You will work with subject matter experts and internal teams to design learning solutions that are practical, inclusive, and aligned with adult education principles. From needs assessments to content creation, your work will help equip employees with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of learning tools and technologies, using feedback and learning data to refine content and delivery. A combinations of education and experience will also be consideredA minimum of three (3) years of instructional design and development experience, particularly in eLearningStrong writing, editing, and multimedia content development skillsProficiency in tools such as Articulate Rise/Storyline, Moodle, JavaScript, HTML5Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, WellSaid Labs, DeepL) to support content development and translationExperience aligning content to standards such as SCORM, xAPI (Tin Can), and familiarity with LTI integrationsThe Ability to analyze learner performance data and LMS reports to inform content improvementsEligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance from PSPCApplication ProcessIf we are the right fit for you, we want to hear from you!
