POSITION OVERVIEW:We are looking for a dynamic and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR Shared Service team. This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end recruitment and selection process across all departments, ensuring we attract, engage, and hire top talent to support our continued growth. The individual will provide full cycle Talent Acquisition services to multiple broker partners across the Navacord structure. It is ideal for a results-oriented recruiter who is passionate about building strong partnerships with hiring managers, enhancing the candidate experience, and developing sourcing strategies that align with our values and business goals. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition to onboarding, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, Predictive Index, reference checks, offer negotiation, and new hire onboarding coordination.Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored sourcing strategies.Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline using proactive sourcing methods (LinkedIn, job boards, industry events, employee referrals, etc.).Enhance the employer brand through creative job ads, targeted outreach, and candidate engagement practices.Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, etc.) and provide regular updates to the Leadership Team. Stay informed of evolving employment legislation and regulatory changes across all provinces in which we operate and ensure recruitment practices remain compliant.Partner with HR and Marketing to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring.Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and tools, identifying opportunities for efficiency and enhanced candidate experience.Assist with HR projects and initiatives, including workforce planning, onboarding program updates, and talent development strategies.Perform other related duties as required to support the success of the HR team and the organization.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.3-5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within a fast-paced or professional services environment.Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment marketing tools.Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.Advanced knowledge and application of MS suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
