Join our teamDFI is currently seeking an experienced Operator to run our Burntable on night shift. We are looking for an ambitious, innovative, and hardworking professional that can complement our exceptional team.Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm with the possibility for overtimeBenefits: Comprehensive Health and Dental plan RRSP Matching Employee Referral Program Professional Development Allowance Employee preferred fuel pricing program Career advancement opportunities Employee Assistance Program Employee discounts at participating vendorsResponsibilities:Maintain equipment dailyEnsure cut quality is maintainedEnsure plate is tracked and inventoriedWork closely with piling production group and Fabrication to maximize productivityTroubleshoot, diagnose and repair table alongside maintenance staffTake an active role in DFIs quality, health, safety and environmental programs Experience with Messer table and Pronest programingOrdering of plate for projectsQualifications:Have previous experience working in a manufacturing environmentPossess a minimum of 1 year burn table operating experience preferredHave ability to use basic tools such as measuring tape, band saw, calipersBe able to read drawings and blueprintsBe willing to work straight evenings and weekendsDemonstrate high degree of communication skills including the ability to take verbal direction as requiredAbility to work with minimum supervisionWelding experience an assetThis is an indoor and outdoor position, candidates must be comfortable working outside in cold or inclement
