About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment in hospital settings. Youll play a key role in ensuring that critical diagnostic and therapeutic devices function safely and effectively, supporting frontline healthcare professionals.Key Responsibilities:Install, calibrate, and service a range of medical equipment (e.g., imaging systems, patient monitors, infusion devices) on-site at hospitalsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize equipment downtimePerform preventative maintenance and safety inspections in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CSA, Health Canada, ISO)Provide training and technical support to clinical and biomedical staffMaintain accurate service records and document all work in compliance with internal and external standardsCommunicate effectively with hospital staff, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate service visits and escalate complex issuesStay current on product updates, new technologies, and safety protocolsQualifications:Diploma or degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related technical field2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment in clinical or hospital environmentsStrong understanding of healthcare regulations and hospital safety standardsAbility to work independently in fast-paced, high-stakes settingsValid drivers license + car and willingness to travel within regionStrong interpersonal and communication skillsBilingual (English and French)
