This role is ideal for individuals passionate about construction, safety, and quality, who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist in supervising on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standardsCoordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to maintain efficient workflowMonitor site safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsMaintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, deliveries, and attendanceSupport the Site Supervisor with scheduling, quality control, and issue resolutionHelp resolve on-site issues and escalate concerns as neededConduct site inspections to verify compliance with plans and specificationsAssist in managing site logistics, including equipment, materials, and waste disposalCommunicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholdersRequirementsDiploma or certification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field13 years of experience in a construction or site supervisory role preferredKnowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulationsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with construction management software is an assetValid drivers license and ability to travel to various job sitesWorking ConditionsPrimarily on-site work in varying weather conditionsMay require extended hours or weekend work depending on project deadlinesDaily site walks to ensure smooth operations with team and subcontractorsWeekend availability as neededBenefitsComprehensive health and dental planRRSP matchingContinuous learning and development opportunitiesCareer advancement potentialEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid holiday break in DecemberPlease apply directly to this role if you are interested.
