Develop and maintain Litens Health, Safety & Environmental programs including policies, procedures, work instructions and guidelines Ensure implementation and adherence to Litens Health, Safety & Environmental programs in all departments, and works with managers and supervisors in the enforcement Ensure applicable hazard identification / analysis impacting workplace health and safety is conducted and action items are implemented Ensure Litens Health, Safety & Environmental programs remain current with applicable legal and other requirements Performs routine Health, Safety & Environmental audits and inspections and reports findings to management Provide and coordinate employee Health, Safety and Environmental training Provides regular statistics to management regarding Health, Safety & Environmental performance Minimum of 5 years of health, safety, environmental experience working in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment, preferably automotive Minimum of 3 years of HSE experience in implementing and maintaining an HSE Management System (ISO 14001 and 45001) Must have a degree / diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent o CRSP designation an asset Must be able to work overtime when necessary; may be required to work different shifts Must have a good understanding of Canadian Health, Safety & Environmental legislation Proficient in MS Office
