Our modular solutions reduce construction time, improve quality control, and promote sustainable building practices Position Overview The Sales Representative plays a critical role in the execution of sales strategies and initiatives to gain market share and drive new business. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this position will be responsible for the sales cycle, including generating and qualifying leads, assessing client needs, developing, submitting and tracking proposals, all while demonstrating a high service level, growing our customer base and achieving established sales targets. The successful candidate will have a solid background in sales and bid process, meticulous attention to detail to prepare bid and proposal packages, and the ability to efficiently juggle multiple tasks across different stages of the client/procurement process. Key Accountabilities * Locating prospective clients (includes sourcing bid opportunities through client/procurement sites), generating opportunities into bid/proposal submissions and converting them to sales. * Establish and maintain company client relations through consistent communication, client visits, building trust and providing service excellence. * Ability to review and properly analyze in-bound proposal requests that meet Feros product line and services. * Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals. Includes, the review of the final bid submittal packages for document completeness prior to closing. * Function as the primary point of contact for the specific project you are responsible for. * Coordinate sales effort with Fero sales team members and other departments. * Meeting or exceeding quarterly and yearly sales targets. * Provide support in negotiating all contracts/POs with prospective clients. * Support preparation of weekly and monthly sales reports as needed (ie: Maintain a regular reporting of pipeline and forecasts to the Director -Sales). * Ensuring customer satisfaction through follow-up and after-sales service. * Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. * Attend trade shows and industry events. * Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients when necessary. * Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures. * Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Fero Code of Business Conduct and health and safety rules and procedures. * May perform other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the Construction industry. * Demonstrated technical construction knowledge and sales capabilities. * Modular construction experience will be an asset. * Highly motivated and target driven. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Can work on multiple and diverse projects simultaneously. * Excellent communication and negotiating skills can present bid proposals, product, and services to clients. * Can professionally answer questions and address concerns. * Excellent time management skills - can meet proposal deadlines and sales quotas. * Ability to travel as needed. Physical Requirements * Wearing PPE such as safety boots, safety vest, safety glasses and gloves. * Office and plant environment. Sitting for long periods.
