#### Job Description Reporting to the Fire Alarm Manager, your main responsibility will be to coordinate all activities related to project completion, from conception to installation. Among other things, your responsibilities will be: - Plan and review the scope of the project; - Plan and sequence activities and resources to complete the project; - Develop schedules and proceed to time estimating/allocation; - Oversee the preparation of all documentation required for the realization of the project; - Prepare detailed schematics in AutoCAD; - Analyze and manage risks and issues; - Oversee the submission of safety documentation; - Monitor and report projects progresses and track contract changes; - Work closely with vendors and do business partnering; - Ensure quality control during all activities; - Manage all project correspondence as the primary contact for the particular project. ### QUALIFICATIONS If you like to work in a fast-paced environment and are interested in an opportunity to learn and grow in the fire alarm industry, this position is for you. The main qualifications we are looking for are: - Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or college diploma in electrical engineering technician/technologist program, or high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience; - 1 to 3 years of relevant experience (an asset); - Proficiency in standards and codes governing the conception and installation of automatic fire protection systems (an asset); - Specific training in fire alarm (an asset); - Valid drivers license; - Good knowledge of WHMIS. ### WHY JOINS US ? - Viking values, respects, and supports the interests of its employees from all walks of life.
