This role places a strong emphasis on content creation and media asset gathering to support brand initiatives. The coordinator is responsible for enhancing and safeguarding the companys public image by executing strategic media and public relations plans in collaboration with the third-party marketing team. These efforts span multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn, to increase engagement and build brand awareness. Additional responsibilities include preparing marketing reports, designing and ordering printed advertisements, and coordinating the design and procurement of company-branded merchandise. Non-remote (In office hours only) Office open Monday-Friday 6am -4pm * Company phone and laptop (Iphone and Mac) * Personal vehicle usage reimbursement (or access to company vehicle) * Company benefits effective immediately * 3 paid sick days * 4% Vacation pay * Safety shoe credit **Responsibilities** * **Act as the main liaison** between the company and the external marketing agency to coordinate targeted campaigns that promote HVAC and plumbing services to residential and commercial audiences. * **Capture and create original content**, including photos and videos of service calls, technician spotlights, customer testimonials, and project highlights for use across print and digital channels. * **Manage and update social media platforms** (e.g., Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn) with engaging, industry-relevant content that showcases services, promotions, seasonal tips, and behind-the-scenes company culture. * **Support public relations efforts** by coordinating local media outreach, and managing community engagement to build trust and visibility within the service area. * **Design, order, and manage printed advertising materials**, including door hangers, flyers, postcards, truck wraps, and trade show banners, ensuring brand consistency and quality. * **Coordinate the design and procurement** of company-branded merchandise (e.g., uniforms, hats, promotional giveaways) for staff, community events, and customer appreciation efforts. * **Monitor the performance** of marketing campaigns and digital advertising (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads), providing regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement. * **Maintain the company''s online presence**, including Google Business Profile updates, responding to reviews, and ensuring business listings are current and accurate. * **Collaborate with internal teams**, such as service managers and technicians, to identify marketing opportunities, highlight key services, and promote seasonal offerings or maintenance programs. * **Maintain a strategic marketing calendar**, aligning promotions and campaigns with seasonal service needs (e.g., A/C tune-ups in spring, furnace inspections in fall, plumbing tips for winter prep). **Requirements** **Education and Experience:** * Post secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field *preferred* but not required. * Open to recent graduates with relevant coursework or internships. * Candidates with hands-on experience in content creation or marketing, even without formal education, are encouraged to apply. * Subcontractor applications will be considered based on portfolio and availability. **Technical and Creative Skills:** * Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and social media management. * Familiarity with platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, GoogleAds and Instagram. * Proficiency in photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or mobile apps). * Strong writing and storytelling skills for social posts, ad copy, and customer-facing materials. * Eye for design and visual branding. **General Competencies:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. * Creative thinker with a willingness to learn and adapt. * Attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work. **Other Requirements:** * Availability to occasionally visit job sites or offices for content creation. * Flexible work schedule with access to dedicated office space for in-office collaboration and content development. * Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, or home service industries is a plus but not required. **Work Conditions** * This role involves a mix of office-based work and field visits.
