We have expertise in the installation of fiber optics, underground utilities for residential development, street lighting, and highway sign infrastructure across Canada. **JOB SUMMARY:** The **Excavator Operator** reports to a Lead Hand/Foreman to assist in the installation of electrical & underground utilities. We are looking for an operator whose primary experience is in an excavator. The ability to run other equipment would be considered an asset. **WHAT WE OFFER TO YOU:** * **Year-Round Work!** * Work in Edmonton and Area. **Return home every day!** * Industry competitive hourly wages & **Overtime Opportunities!** * **100% Employer Paid Extended Health Benefits** & **Employee Assistance Program** * **Construction Season Bonus Program.** * Group Retirement Savings Plan. * Advancement and learning opportunities! **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Working **5 - 6 days a week, 8 - 10 hours a day**. * **Operate Heavy Equipment - Specifically Excavator** * Primary role will be excavating trenches at 1.5 meter depth. * Ability to run other equipment (Skid Steer, Loader, Backhoe) is considered an asset. * Dig, backfill, and sand trenches with heavy equipment. * Perform preventative maintenance procedures on equipment. * Site setup and cleanup. * Adapt to changing priorities. * Work in all weather conditions. * Perform labour tasks, as needed. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Valid Class **5** Drivers License. * Ability to lift **50lbs**. * Competency driving **standard vehicles** is considered an asset. * Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk. #INDH
