Job Purpose The Yard Worker will maintain organization of the yard and equipment all while providing support to shop operations. This position is working 7 days on 7 days off from 6am to 6pm. What you will do... * Loading and unloading of rental equipment * Status verification of equipment on the yard * Stage equipment for delivery * Stage equipment for maintenance and repair activity * Ability to diagnose and repair earth moving and aerial equipment * Review reservation reports to ensure the correct equipment is ready to rent * Wash and light maintenance of equipment, function checks of equipment prior to the next rental * Equipment quality inspections * Maintain organization on the yard * Ability to deal with customers as required * Other duties as assigned Requirements * Results orientated, process and problem-solving skills * Team player with initiative and a positive attitude * Excellent verbal communication skills * Capable of driving equipment * Ability to lift up to 50lbs * Yard or other operational experience at an equipment rental yard * Construction related experience * Technical degree related to equipment maintenance is a plus Conditions of Employment * Valid Class 5 Drivers license * A recent abstract will be required * Ability to work 7 days on, 7 days off, 11.5 hours per day straight time * All employment is contingent on successful completion of drug and background screening ***Flights are provided out of Edmonton or Calgary*** ***only*** ***and you will be staying in camp.*** Req #: 62694 **Pay Range:** $29.62/hr plus living allowance if local Please be advised that the actual salary offered for any position is subject to the company''s sole discretion and may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate''s qualifications, experience, location, and overall fit for the role.
