* Position: INTERMEDIATE / JUNIOR CIVIL ENGINEER * ID No: 14-1501 * Location: Sudbury Description: The successful candidate will take an important role in design and project management within MPEs Water Resources team. The position requires a broad range of skills and experience in a wide variety of water resource projects. The position will be based in MPEs Sudbury office. Qualifications * Bachelors degree from an accredited University in Civil or Environmental Engineering, * Registration with PEO as an Engineer (P.Eng., or E.I.T.), * 0 to 8 years of experience in engineering including design, management, construction supervision, and project management. Preferably for water resource related projects. * Experience completing hydrotechnical assessments and hydrology as well as use of hydraulic modeling software is desirable. * Self-motivated, with good leadership, project management and client management experience; and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Responsibilities * Management of projects, contract administration, construction management, and design engineering, * Coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists, * Prepare planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents, * Perform construction administration and general construction supervision duties, * Work closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met.
