Together, we build spaces, opportunities and rewarding futures. Our team is currently seeking a Field Safety Manager to join our dynamic team! In your role as Field Safety Manager, you will be responsible for providing project safety support, safety leadership and coaching to field personnel to improve safe work outcomes. Through proactive observation, evaluation and inspection, you will monitor field performance and compliance with the safety program. Your role as Field Safety Manager will have a focus on incident and emergency response to manage potential loss and mitigate risk. **Accountabilities:** * Field coaching and mentoring * Project setup and site safety support * Critical task support * Incident and emergency response * Program implementation **Job Duties:** * Support the implementation of Kellers safety program * Develop safe work processes, procedures and practices * Lead project kick-off meetings to support the communication of project safety expectations * Conduct regular site visits and observations to monitor compliance * Support in critical task planning and execution * Support emergency and incident response and lead incident investigation for root cause * Monitor and evaluate compliance with developed hazard assessments * Support the completion of and compliance with program documents * Provide project team with coaching and guidance on safety requirements * Maintenance of specialized PPE * Prepare and lead safety communications (toolbox meetings) * Tracking and trending **Requirements & Qualifications:** * NCSO designation * 5+ years in a Field Safety role with progressive responsibilities * Ability to travel within Western Canada * Proven history of a collaborative approach to safety with an emphasis on coaching and guidance * Demonstrable understanding of applicable OHS regulations and legislation * Experience creating and implementing effective training, audits, and practices * Superior communication skills both written and verbal * Strong organization, analytical and leadership skills **About Keller Construction Ltd.** For over 60 years, Keller Construction Ltd. has been a trusted leader in commercial construction across Western Canada.
