We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team in both the Residential and Commercial departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of glazing projects from contract award through to project completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the glazing industry. Key Responsibilities: * Manage all phases of glazing projects, including scope definition, scheduling, procurement, and close-out. * Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met and executed to spec. * Provide effective leadership and direction to project teams, including drafters, coordinators, and site operatives. * Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are controlled and projects are completed within the agreed financial parameters. * Lead the creation and review of project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and delays are managed proactively. * Oversee procurement and coordination of materials, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to the job site. * Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. * Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and contract documents, and perform detailed window and door take-offs. * Prepare and manage project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and change orders. * Interface with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the project. * Demonstrate technical expertise in glazing systems, including storefronts, curtain walls, entrances, and specialized European glazing systems. * Assist in the development and negotiation of subcontractor agreements and supply contracts. * Ensure all project deliverables are completed according to specifications, on time, and within budget. * Conduct project close-out processes, including final inspections and documentation. Required Skills and Qualifications: * A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Commercial or Residential glazing projects. * In-depth knowledge and demonstrated use of building envelope science and construction management principles. * Strong familiarity with glazing systems, including entrances, storefronts, curtain walls, and window and door systems. * Experience working with European glazing systems is a significant asset. * Solid understanding of standard construction contract language and provisions (subcontract agreements, supply agreements, etc.). * Proven ability to read and interpret project drawings and construction documents. * Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex project specifications. * Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat. * Strong experience with Excel spreadsheets and formulas for budgeting and scheduling purposes. * Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Monday.com, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, and cloud-based project management platforms. * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients and team members. * Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a project team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
