Join our team as **Service Supervisor** at our **Grande Prairie** branch! The Service Department Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the service department to ensure high-quality work, productivity, and safety standards are consistently met. The Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in the forefront of customer experience. This leadership role includes managing service staff, supporting customers, overseeing work order processes, and contributing to the financial success of the department through effective supervision and strategic coordination. This role reports directly to the Regional Manager with the opportunity to advance into a Service Manager position in the future. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Supervision & Leadership:** Oversee service staff, provide coaching and feedback, conduct regular meetings, train team members, and participate in hiring and performance management. * **Customer Service & Communication:** Interface with customers on a regular basis, assisting customers with technical requests, creating service estimates, manage customer expectations, support upselling efforts, follow up post-service, and coordinate with OEMs on promotions and warranties. * **Safety & Compliance:** Enforce safety standards and best practices, engage in safety committee activities, and ensure compliance with company policies on quality, cost, and safety. * **Work Order & Warranty Management:** Review and manage work orders, submit and track warranty claims, and collaborate with senior management on warranty processes. * **Scheduling & Workflow Coordination:** Distribute workloads, manage schedules and shop supplies, and coordinate service tasks with other departments. * **Administrative & Financial Oversight:** Support budget preparation, maintain accurate documentation, assist with collections, and contribute to service-related promotions. * **Other Duties:** Stay current on service technologies and perform additional tasks as needed to support department operations.
