Were looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our construction support crew as Heavy Labourers. This is an active, hands-on role that includes a variety of tasks such as site preparation, equipment handling, and general labor support with a focus on helping install infrastructure like utility lines and drainage systems. While some tasks involve physical work such as trench digging, this is just one part of a larger, team-based workflow. Youll be working alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive environment where safety, communication, and pace are respected. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist with preparing construction sites (clearing debris, moving materials) * Load and unload tools and equipment * Use hand tools, shovels, and various other equipment * Maintain clean and organized work areas * Follow direction from site supervisors and follow safety protocols * Collaborate with team members on a variety of general labor tasks **What Were Looking For:** * Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn * Comfort working outdoors in variable conditions * Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs safely * Previous construction or general labor experience is an asset (not required) * CSA-approved steel-toe boots required **What You Can Expect:** * Consistent hours and competitive pay * A variety of tasks throughout the day no two days are the same * Opportunities to learn skills from tradespeople and grow in the construction industry * A respectful, safety-first work environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 50 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Application question(s): * Do you have your own full set of PPE Language: * English (required) Work Location: On the road Expected start date: 2025-06-17
