The Role of Operations Manager is a high-level position that oversees the daily operations of a business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing compliance of key performance indicators, influencing customer satisfaction, increasing revenue, and ensuring operational effectiveness and quality. ''> Key Responsibilities: Efficient Vehicle Utilization Ensure Compliance with Contract Direct Dispatching, Routing, and Tracking Activities Plan and Organize Staff Work Implement Schedule and Policy Changes Oversee Effective Start-Ups and Shut-Downs Collaborate with Other Managers and Staff Work with Health & Safety Team to Improve Safety Procedures FOLLOW UP ON PROGRESSIVE DISCIPLINE OVERSEE AND REPORT ON KPI''S, DEFICIENCY LISTS AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEYS ENSURE PROPER LEVELS OF EMPLOYEES BY WORKING WITH TALENT ACQUISITION TEAM PLAN AND FACILITATE SAFETY MEETINGS AND DRIVER''S MEETINGS MONITOR SPENDING AND OVERSEE DIVISIONAL BUDGET OVERSEE PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION SERVE AS THE MAIN POINT OF CONTACT FOR DAILY OPERATIONS ENSURE COMPLIANCE TO CONTRACTS IN QUOTING NEW BUSINESS Oversight of Daily Operation''s Communication Ambassador of the Company on and off company property Requirements University or Post Secondary Degree or Equivalent Minimum 3 years'' experience in a supervisory/management role in an operations environment Experience in Transportation Industry, would be an asset but not mandatory Clean Drivers Abstract and clear Criminal Record Search Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous experience working in dynamic environments with tight deadlines and handling confidential information Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat Participation in group meetings Willingness to participate in education upgrading as required About this Opportunity This challenging role requires an experienced professional who can lead teams effectively and maintain a high level of service quality.
