By doing these things we help them create success for their customers and their people.The impact you will have:The Technical Architect is responsible for increasing revenue and gross profit by providing program, pricing, product, and promotion expertise. Develop new business and expand existing customer relationships through on-site customer visits and telephone consultations within portfolios of vendors offered by Softchoice.What you'll do:Work closely with Sales team to support sale of vendors products and solutionsProvide pre-sales support on client devicesBe a subject matter expert on a breadth of client products, pricing programs, policies and procedures, and deal registrationGain understanding of customers business and technology needs and identify product and solution opportunitiesDesign, configure, and verify technical configurations and solutions to meet customer requirementsProactively move opportunities through the sales cycle which includes presenting, positioning, and selling vendors products and solutionsManage, track, and forecast the sales opportunity pipeline for vendors on a weekly basisDevelop and maintain high level of product expertiseConduct Sales Rep training on vendor productsManage and update vendor content on all internal portals, intranets, and websitesRun weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to track and understand business resultsAnalyze sales by product, branch, region, and customersIdentify areas to improve efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes with respect to sales, bid desk, and supply chain teamsWhat you'll bring to the table:Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience3-5 years of technology sales experienceVendor certifications preferredExperience working with technology reseller preferredKnowledge of client devices and pricing programsFamiliarity with Cisco CCW systems for quoting software and hardwareKnowledge of Cisco deal registration and incentive programsNot sure if you qualify?
