Apply today!Job DetailsWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Product Owner to spearhead our digital transformation initiatives within the Commercial Finance and Enterprise FP&A area. This role will be pivotal in identifying and developing innovative solutions that enable more strategic analysis, minimize data wrangling and drive more effective business partnering. The Business Product Owner will work closely with the Technical Product Owner (IT) to translate business needs, functional requirements, and delivery technology solutions that align with our organizational objectives.ResponsibilitiesDrive towards vision, objectives, and key results laid out under Financial Solutions as part of Finance Digital TransformationServe as a strategic business and thought partner to Commercial Finance and Enterprise FP&A leaders and counterpartsEvaluate, design, and launch finance systems and data to support key finance process areas (e.g., financial data governance, analytical reports, cost centers, predictive forecasting, etc.)Lead workshops or working sessions with key stakeholders to gather input and refine deliverablesWork closely with the Business Product Owner and Business Product Manager counterparts in Continuous Improvement when financial systems and data are utilized in the processIdentify up- or downstream dependencies with other programs or initiatives, and collaborate where neededLead production of outputs or deliverables that contribute to the objectives and key results (e.g., kickoff deck, process flows, pain points, requirements, use cases, etc.)Ensure recommendations and designs align with enterprise or global standardsCollaborate with the Technical Product Owner (IT) to define the roadmap for finance digital transformationCollaborate with the Technical Product Owner (IT) to translate the business requirements, identify enabling technology, and implement the solutionEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of initiativesSupport program governance activities, such as status reporting and executive readoutsSupport change management efforts, in collaboration with the People and Talent Business Product OwnerEducation and Work ExperienceBachelors degree required; masters degree preferred7+ years of experience in consulting, transformation or related experience in a Commercial Finance or FP&A settingExperience in financial systems and tools (e.g., Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, and AI/ML)Skills and KnowledgeExperience in assessing, designing, and implementing technology solutionsExperience in building roadmaps and logically sequencing recommendations, while accounting for parallel or dependent initiativesExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement; ability to synthesize complex ideas or scenarios into a simple and concise mannerAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment, including cross-functional teams within and outside of finance (e.g., Accounting, Commercial, IT, HR, etc.)Demonstrated career progression in roles with increased influence and leadershipStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsAbility to work effectively and build trust with people at all levels in an organizationExperience influencing in a large, matrixed, global environmentStrong desire for self-improvement and willingness to grow ones career; open to feedback, mentoring, and coachingWillingness to travelWhat Cencora offersWe provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members ability to live with purpose every day.
