Job Description About the Company Our client is an industry-leading software company looking for a Director of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will oversee month-end processes, reconciliations, and internal reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. They will be accountable for coordinating, analyzing, and presenting monthly financial performance to senior management and the executive team. This includes owning the quarterly financial forecasting process, considering sales pipelines, costs analysis, and key drivers and assumptions. The individual will also provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to direct reports, ensuring continual development and performance expectations. Governance and Reporting: Oversee month-end processes, reconciliations, and internal reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Financial Analysis: Coordinate, analyze, and present monthly financial performance to senior management and the executive team. Forecasting: Own the quarterly financial forecasting process, considering sales pipelines, costs analysis, and key drivers and assumptions. Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to direct reports, ensuring continual development and performance expectations. Requirements To succeed in this role, you will require: Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field. Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or CA). Minimum of 10+ years accounting and/or finance experience, including 5+ years in a management role. High degree of business acumen. Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work variable hours when required.
