Indigenous Student Internship Opportunity This internship program provides Indigenous students with the chance to gain valuable work experience on a major project while ensuring culturally safe mentoring. The internship is designed to give back to First Nation communities through our partnership and was established to become the preferred vendor with our clients within the Nuclear industry. We provide a full spectrum of services tailored to meet our client''s demanding requirements, including Engineering, Procurement, Contractor Payroll, and Construction. As part of this internship, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from design and new build through asset management and life extension. Your responsibilities may include working in Candu offices in Port Elgin, Mississauga or Pickering, and you will be required to pass Candu security clearance. This internship offers a wide array of learning and development opportunities, paid internship, and an exciting work environment focused on health and safety. Responsibilities: Work location(s): Candu offices in Port Elgin, Mississauga or Pickering Position Type: 4, 6, 8 or 12 month paid internship Number of positions available: up to 5 Work Terms Available: Spring/Summer, Fall, Winter Qualifications: Currently enrolled in college or university Identify as an Indigenous Canadian Attention to detail High level of competency with MS Office suite Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and are adaptable to changing priorities Benefits: Wide array of learning and development opportunities; Paid internship; and Exciting work environment focused on health and safety.
