About the Company Our client is looking to add a Manager, Accounting Advisory to join their team. The role involves providing guidance and support on accounting policies and financial reporting matters, including the interpretation and application of relevant accounting standards. Accounting Advisory Services provide key insights to drive informed business decisions. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration with various departments. About the Opportunity: Provides expert guidance on accounting policies and financial reporting matters. Advises on complex accounting considerations during the development and review of internal and external business submissions and initiatives. Prepares and reviews documentation, memos, and presentations to communicate accounting positions and recommendations to various stakeholders. Leads and supports the resolution of complex accounting issues in collaboration with departments across the organization and with external partners. Acts as a key point of contact for accounting-related advice to cross-functional teams across finance, operations, legal, and other business units. Promotes application of internal accounting policies and financial reporting standards to ensure accurate and reliable financial information. About You Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Minimum eight years of progressive experience in accounting advisory or large public accounting firm. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA designation required. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills and be able to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
