We're Hiring: Executive Assistant to the CEOLocation: Chilliwack, BCHours: Full-time for the right applicant.Availability: Monday-FridayWage: $22-25, with higher rates for candidates with relevant experience & skillsAbout the PositionOptimize Organics is a fast-growing, purpose-driven company developing biologically rich soils, reducing pesticide use through beneficial insects, and providing high-quality organic inputs that help growers produce abundant, healthy crops. As we expand, were looking for a sharp, reliable Executive Assistant to join our team. This role works closely with our CEO and plays a crucial part in maintaining day-to-day operations smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is energized by contributing to a rapidly growing business.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the CEO with daily administrative and operational tasksManage orders: data entry, tracking, and customer communicationHandle email correspondence and customer inquiriesSubmit and track soil and lab samplesPrint and organize product labels for the production teamMaintain and update inventory recordsRequest and compare freight and courier quotesEnter manual orders and generate quotes in ShopifyMonitor social media and respond to basic inquiriesSupport general admin tasks and ongoing data entryIntegrate AI tools into existing business practices.What We're Looking ForFluent in English (spoken and written)Highly organized and detail-focusedTech-savvy and comfortable with various software and learning new toolsExcited about learning new AI toolsA strong communicator who follows through on commitmentsProactive in solving problems and streamlining daily operationsTrustworthy and capable of handling confidential information with discretionAble to manage calendars, schedule meetings, and support small project coordinationIndependent, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-moving, hands-on environmentBonus Skills (Assets)Experience in AI tools, integrations, and business automation workflowsExperience in small business operations, warehousing, production, or logisticsFamiliarity with Apple operating systems and software, including: Shopify, QuickBooks, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Google Sheets, and ExcelUnderstanding of SEO and digital marketing toolsHow to ApplyOption 1: Drop off your resume and cover letter in person at our office in Chilliwack.
