This is a full-time onsite role within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The Senior Construction Inspector will lead field inspections, ensure compliance with contract specifications, and oversee quality control and construction management activities related to road and highway projects.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough site inspections and monitor construction activitiesEnsure compliance with MTO and municipal standards, specifications, and contract documentsOversee quality control procedures for materials, especially in asphalt paving and concrete operationsProvide accurate, detailed daily reports and photographic documentationLiaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve site issuesAssist in measuring and verifying quantities for paymentEnsure health and safety compliance on-siteQualificationsMust be certified as RCSI (Road Construction Senior Inspector), EIT, or P.Eng. in OntarioMinimum 5 years of experience in construction inspection, preferably on MTO projectsProven knowledge of asphalt and concrete construction methods and QA/QC processesStrong understanding of OPS/OPSS, MTO specs, and contract administration proceduresExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and construction reporting softwareValid drivers license and access to a vehicle for site travelWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and qualificationsOpportunities for professional development and mentorshipDynamic and collaborative work environmentParticipation in impactful infrastructure projects across OntarioTo Apply: Please submit your resume and cover letter to sghodousi@noveeneng.ca.
