Job Description

We are hiring a People & Culture Coordinator for a temporary 15 month contract on behalf of our client, a construction company based in Vancouver. If you are looking for a company that has great growth potential and awesome team culture, this may be the role for you!Responsibilities: Facilitate a unique and inclusive onboarding experience for every new hire, preparing and supporting onboarding activities by leveraging HRIS toolsAssist in full cycle recruitment, including drafting of job descriptions, candidate selection and onboardingHelp facilitate a smooth onboarding for each new employee while coordinating with internal teams as neededPrepare employment related documents including employment contracts, progressive discipline letters, termination documentation and investigation notesMaintain and improve the existing HRIS, (BambooHR), including ongoing data management, system customization, and monitoring functionality to ensure optimal performanceMaintains optimal functions of BambooHR, which may include customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to modulesCoordinate and work alongside Office Administrator to create and host events for employee engagement and a positive culturePromote and attend company events; promote welcoming and positive attitude throughout worksites and officeActively promote and facilitate the employee recognition programOther duties as needed.Qualifications:Bachelors degree or diploma in Business Administration/Commerce, Human Resources (or related field) is an asset1-3+ years work experience in an HR/People & Culture role is preferredExcellent time management and organizational skills with proven ability to juggle and reprioritize based on business requirements while meeting the demands of a high-volume workloadDeveloping skillset in coaching peers, facilitation, and conflict resolutionCompetence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.Must be interested in learning more about Canadian and provincial employment law and regulationsMust have advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft office suiteInterest and commitment to personal and professional development and keeping current with HR practices and trendsWhat We Can Offer You:Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 (flexible based on experience)Comprehensive benefits package2-3 weeks vacationHow to Apply: Through this posting or email your resume to admin@sitetalent.caAbout SiteTalent: We are a specialized growth and talent partner for the industrial sector.
