We are assisting our client a leader in the Aerospace/Defense industry in their search for S Licensed Technicians for a contract opportunity in Trenton, ON.Contract: June 30th - October 3rd, 2025Their duties include but are not limited to:Performance of work, up to and including certification with approved processes.Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered (including Service Difficulties).Utilizing certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment.Marshalling, fueling and towing of aircraft.Maintaining a clean work areaAssuming responsibility for his work as indicated by his signature/stPerforming duties such as repair, modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures;Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered;Familiarization of the MPM and related processes;Participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested.Carry out duties according to the appropriate maintenance policy manual and ensure conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards;Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety regulations at all times;QUALIFICATIONS:Completion of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer-Structures program from a recognized Canadian institute;Possess a valid AME-S license;Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills; -Must be attentive to detail and demonstrate professional pride in ensuring the end product meets or exceeds Transport Canadas/Manufacturers criteria;Experience working on the A310 with endorsement is considered an asset;Have a positive attitude and be able to work well in a team environment;Ability to be productive and multi-task in a demanding work environment;Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills;Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Eligibility Criteria:Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status
