JLL is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform and coordinate all maintenance activity at the client site located in Toronto. The Maintenance Mechanic will have a strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on all systems as well as demonstrate a strong basic understanding in one or more craft areas (Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, Central Utility Plant Operations) and be multi-skilled in others in order to successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments. WHAT YOU''''LL DO Respond promptly to Corrigo work orders, tenant inquiries, emergency system failures, alarms, and urgent situations (including after-hours, overtime, and weekend availability when necessary). Perform daily inspections with proper documentation, conduct maintenance rounds, and respond to Sensaphone alarms, making repairs or overseeing vendors as needed. Coordinate maintenance performed by vendors, create MOPs for critical activities, schedule maintenance, and escort construction vendors to ensure compliance with JLL standards. Handle conference room setups/resets (including AV coordination), move furniture as needed, manage furniture storage, and perform minor furniture repairs. Maintain adequate tools and supplies inventory, manage cleaning/maintenance supplies, develop sources for stock materials, and oversee key distribution/storage. Identify/escalate operational/safety risks, properly handle hazardous materials, maintain clean/safe workplace, and address floor surface spills/debris. Ensure work in client spaces minimizes disruption with proper cleanup, assist with loading/unloading deliveries, and maintain floor surfaces. Notify management of inefficiencies (utilities, etc.), review monthly service request summaries to address recurring problems. Partner with other service teams (Project Management, Technology, Security, Moves, Janitorial) and provide general support to direct manager as requested.
