Recently, our firm has experienced unprecedented growth, establishing us as a leader in the industry.We are currently seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to one of our major client projects.WHY VTEK:Competitive Salary: Receive an annual salary that stands out from the market and is based on experience.Comprehensive Benefits: Enjoy a full package for group insurance.Pension Fund: Benefit from a pension fund with employer contribution.Flexible Hours: Flexible working hours.Paid Sick Days: Paid sick days.Christmas Closure: Closed for a few days for Christmas holidays.Structured Recruitment: We have a structured recruitment system in place to ease the hiring process.YOUR MISSIONS:Technical Deliverable Preparation and VerificationDeliverable Preparation: Prepare technical deliverables for civil works (roads, underground conduits, retention basins, etc.) as assigned.Coordination and CollaborationDeliverable Coordination: Coordinate technical deliverables internally and gather feedback from involved disciplines before issuing to the client or for construction.Mentoring: Technicians, draftsmen and engineers in preparing civil drawings.Stakeholder Communication: Address questions from clients, authorities, and utilities, and guide the project through the permitting process as necessary.Project Support and Follow-UpBid Process Support: Support the project team during the bid process and clarifications.Meeting Participation: Participate in project coordination meetings to ensure alignment.Documentation Management: Ensure that all technical documentation is prepared according to VTEK quality standards, while respecting project budget and schedule constraints.Compliance and Construction SupportShop Drawing Review: Review shop drawings provided by contractors to ensure compliance with engineering design.Technical Requests Management: Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Deviation (RFD) as needed.Construction Support: Assist the construction team and contractors during project execution, as requested.Additional TasksPerform any other tasks as requested by the Civil-Structural Engineering Manager.Verification and Validation: Validate construction package content to ensure all required work was considered in prior phases and verify technical deliverables according to VTEK procedures.Standards Compliance: Design and update civil standards according to current codes, project requirements, and client needs.IDEAL CANDIDATE:Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the oil and gas sector or civil infrastructure projects.Certification: P.Eng designation required.Software: Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and Navisworks.Standards: Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards to ensure compliance.If youre ready to advance your career with a dynamic and expanding company, apply now to join VTEK Consulting Group Inc. and play a key role in our growth and success!
