Food Service Supervisor Job Description The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team, maintaining food quality and safety, ensuring customer satisfaction, and optimizing overall efficiency. The successful Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for: Team Management: Supervise, train, and guide staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively. Schedule shifts to ensure smooth operations and meet customer demand. Provide ongoing performance feedback and mentorship to help staff improve their skills and advance in their careers. Customer Service Excellence: Ensure prompt and friendly service to customers at all times. Address inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction. Food Quality and Safety: Enforce food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and identify areas for improvement. Operational Efficiency: Manage inventory and control costs to maximize profitability and minimize waste. Optimize workflows and streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce labor costs. Training and Development: Provide comprehensive onboarding for new team members to ensure they are familiar with company policies and procedures. Encourage and facilitate continuous learning and development opportunities for staff to help them grow and succeed in their careers. Administrative Tasks: Prepare and maintain production and quality reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
