Agilus is recruiting for a Cost / Schedule / Controls Engineer / Specialist III in the oil & gas industry in Sarnia, Ontario.Responsibilities:Be responsible for developing cost estimatesEngages with project team and functional team, including planner and scheduler and Clients accounting staffAssist in development of C&SE deliverables (includes Cost and Schedule Estimate, estimate basis documents, Benchmarking analysis, etc. )Previous oil and gas cost estimating experienceStrong technical mentoring skillsStrong cost estimating skillset, including industry programs (e.g., ASPEN, etc.)Identifies capital efficiency opportunities and risks on projectsMinimal travel within Alberta may be requiredSuccessful candidates will have:Bachelors degree in Engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience15+ years of experience working on projectsSkills to negotiate and broker successful solutions between Internal Coordination parties aboveAdvanced level proficiency in Cost EstimatingStrong Influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skillsAdaptability to changing prioritiesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to organize, plan, control, coordinate, and effectively manage cross-functional activities
