Our ability to offer fast and accurate testing while still being cost-effective allows every member of the food supply chain (big or small) to be rest assured that the food they produce is safe thereby making the world a better place.About the Role:At Genista Biosciences, the Software Engineering team is responsible for building designing, developing, testing and deploying new software modules for the platform we offer food companies to manage and improve their food safety program.Job Duties- Collaborate with the UX/UI design team to ensure that vision is being properly followed- Implement back-end functionalities for in-house mobile and web applications- Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements to the existing platform- Define front end architecture and components, define user experience, handle state and client-side experiences- Perform integrations tasks of various modules and components that have been developed by other engineers- Work with the development team to help define system architecture- Perform rigorous testing and bug-fixes on new and existing codeQualifications:- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other technology-related field- 2 to 3 Years of Work Experience with web technologies/frameworks like React, Django, and NodeJS- Preferred Languages: JavaScript, Python
