Sales Support & Merchandising CoordinatorLocation: Full-Time, Onsite Near Rexdale Blvd/Kipling Ave. EtobicokeTravel: Vehicle required for store visits ranging from Niagara to Oshawa (mileage reimbursed)We are recruiting for a food manufacturing and distribution company that is looking to hire a detail-oriented Sales Support & Merchandising Coordinator to support both in-store merchandising and internal administrative functions. This role requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable working independently in retail environments and collaboratively within an office team. Prior experience dealing with major national retailers such as Loblaw, Sobeys, Walmart, Fortinos, or similar is a strong asset.Key ResponsibilitiesMerchandising ResponsibilitiesEnsure product displays are organized, well-stocked, and aligned with merchandising standards.Monitor sales trends and advise on low or missing inventory at store level.Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel.Provide product knowledge updates to store teams and introduce new items.Manage product credits for damages in line with company policy.Optimize in-store stock levels and support sell-through strategies.Weekly travel to retail locations required (mileage reimbursed).Administrative ResponsibilitiesEnter invoices and prepare customer statements.Contact accounts to follow up on outstanding payments.Input orders and data through various customer portals.Make outbound calls to accounts to collect orders and confirm product needs.Generate regular sales reports for internal and external use.Manage GS1 entries for new products.Distribute promotional product lists and email communications to customers.Perform general clerical duties as assigned.Qualifications3+ years of experience in merchandising, sales coordination, or customer servicepreferably within the food or retail industry.Familiarity with large national retailers and their operational procedures.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Experience with CRM systems and NetSuite is preferred.Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both field and office settings.Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required.
