If youre passionate about shaping the future of healthcare, we want to hear from you.We are hiring a Sourcing Specialist to focus on a specific area: this will be for the physician portfolio.The Sourcing Specialist reports to the Manager, Recruitment Sourcing.Duties:Utilize candidate sourcing platforms to identify and connect with potential healthcare candidates. Use advanced search features to filter by specific healthcare skills, qualifications, and experience levels. Engage with relevant professional groups to expand network within the healthcare industry.Leverage industry-specific job boards and talent databases that cater to healthcare professionals.Participate in online forums, social media groups, and professional associations dedicated to healthcare professionals.Attend conferences and recruitment events to build talent pipelines, while tracking key performance indicators to assess the return on investment of events.Develop tailored outreach strategies for candidates, focusing on their unique career aspirations and skills. Craft personalized messages that reference their work and express genuine interest in their professional journey.Implement a consistent follow-up strategy to maintain contact over time, keeping candidates engaged for future opportunities.Utilize employee networks to reach candidates through referrals. Encourage current employees to recommend qualified professionals.Stay informed about industry trends, competitor hiring practices, and emerging talent sources to enhance sourcing strategies.Making recommendations to ensure policies and guidelines remain current for effective strategies.Support a comprehensive intake meeting with hiring managers and Candidate Experience Specialists to gather in-depth information about job requirements and the ideal candidate profile.Work closely with hiring pod to create candidate personas for each role. These personas should include not only technical skills and qualifications but also soft skills, cultural fit attributes, and potential career motivations that align with the team and organizational goals.Implement regular check-ins or status updates with hiring managers and hiring pod throughout the sourcing process. Use these touchpoints to gather feedback on submitted candidates, refine search criteria, and keep hiring managers engaged and informed about the talent pipeline.Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools to systematically record all sourcing activities, candidate interactions, and pipeline statuses. Ensure that all data entries are consistent and up-to-date to maintain accurate records.Track essential metrics such as sourcing channel effectiveness, candidate response rates, time-to-fill, and quality of hire. Use these metrics to evaluate the success of different sourcing strategies and identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process.Create and distribute periodic reports that provide a clear overview of the current talent pipeline status. Include information on the number of candidates at each stage of the recruitment process, highlighting any bottlenecks or areas of concern.Conduct regular assessments of various sourcing channels (e.g., job boards, social media, employee referrals) to determine which are most effective in attracting quality candidates. Use this data to optimize resource allocation and focus on high-performing channels.Minimum Qualifications:A bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in recruitment or sourcing techniques are advantageous.A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruitment or talent sourcing, particularly within the healthcare sector.Proven experience in building talent pipelines and utilizing various sourcing methods, including social media and job boards.Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools for tracking sourcing activities and candidate interactions.Strong analytical skills to assess sourcing metrics and optimize recruitment strategies based on data.Demonstrated equivalencies will be considered Other Qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.Experience in collaborating with Candidate Experience Specialists and hiring managers to understand specific candidate profile and job requirements.Strong problem-solving skills to identify effective sourcing strategies and address challenges in the recruitment process.Ability to adapt to changing recruitment needs and utilize innovative sourcing techniques to attract qualified candidates.Health PEI values the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that a diverse, equitable and inclusive work-place culture can bring.
