The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native solutions, while also guiding teams through cloud modernization journeys.Key Responsibilities:Lead and execute large-scale application rationalization and migration efforts from on-prem to cloud (Azure and AWS).Design and implement cloud-native architectures using best practices for scalability, security, and resiliency.Collaborate with architects, product owners, and infrastructure teams to develop migration roadmaps and modernization strategies.Develop, test, and deploy reusable infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation.Provide mentorship and guidance to development teams in adopting cloud-first design patterns and DevOps practices.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and compliance.Ensure adherence to security standards and cloud governance frameworks.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud deployment and integration.Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong expertise in both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystems.Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS).Solid understanding of microservices architecture, serverless frameworks, and API integrations.Experience with cloud migration tools such as Azure Migrate, AWS Migration Hub, or third-party solutions.Familiarity with application portfolio analysis and rationalization strategies.Strong grasp of security principles, IAM, network design, and cloud compliance standards.Strong grasp of cloud architecture, including scalability, resilience, cost control, and security.Ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or equivalent.Experience working in agile and DevSecOps environments.
