Were seeking a seasoned Accessibility Tester (47+ years of experience) to join our team as a Lead Tester, focusing on accessibility (A11y) testing for web and software applications.This is a remote opportunity across Canada perfect for an expert in manual accessibility testing who can also contribute to automation efforts. If youre DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester and CPACC certified, and have experience leading A11y testing projects, we want to hear from you!What you'll do?Manual TestingAnalyze requirements and design comprehensive manual test cases.Execute test cases and report detailed, reproducible defects.Perform regression, functional, exploratory, and usability testing.Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers.Accessibility TestingApply WCAG 2.1 & 2.2 (Level A/AA) standards.Use tools like ARC, AXE, WAVE, Color Contrast Analyzer, NVDA, Talkback/VoiceOver.Implement WAI-ARIA standards and APG Patterns in testing.Automation (Preferred)Support automation efforts for high-impact test scenarios.Maintain test scripts and assist in integrating with CI/CD pipelines.Defect ManagementLog and manage defects using JIRA, QTest, or similar tools.Retest fixes and collaborate closely with the dev team for resolutions.Your Skillset:Proven experience in accessibility testing for 47+ years.Proficient in manual testing, test case design, and STLC processes.Familiarity with API testing (Postman, Swagger).Exposure to automation tools like Rest Assured or TOSCA.Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.Agile experience is a plus.Certifications:Required:DHS Section 508 Trusted TesterCPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies)Nice to Have:WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist)CPWA (CPACC + WAS)JAWS or NVDA Screen Reader CertificationsIf you're interested in the position, Please submit your resume in PDF format#AccessibilityJobs #A11y #RemoteJobs #CanadaJobs #QA #ManualTesting #AccessibilityTesting #InclusiveTech
