Job Description

Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation is seeking a resourceful Donor Relations and Program Data Assistant to support our fundraising activities and mission delivery, and to become a vital part of our dynamic team at Wellspring Westerkirk House, 105 Wellness Way (on the campus of the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto). This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of $50,000 a year, plus benefits.Required Skills:Demonstrated skill at entering complex information into a databaseHigh degree of proficiency in MS Word and ExcelSpeed and accuracy in completion of tasks, including data entryAttention to detail and consistency in managing repetitive situationsSuperior writing skillsVery good telephone and communication skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsFluency in EnglishAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFriendly, professional demeanourAbility to handle sensitive information responsiblyPreferred Skills:Experience in a charity/non-profit environment an assetExperience with Salesforce database (or other databases) a strong assetExperience working with MSExcel to manipulate and analyze data an assetExperience in creating web-basedsurveyssuch as SurveyMonkey and Google Forms an assetResponsibilities:Donation processing, including data entry and importing from online fundraising sites into databaseGenerating and proofing thank-you letters, acknowledgement cards, and donation receiptsCreating, distributing and reporting on program evaluation and satisfaction surveysRunning database reports to update program data and compile statistics Assisting with reconciliation of revenueMaking bank deposits, and assisting with donation processing at occasional fundraising eventsPhone and email communication with donors and members, and liaising with foundationsGeneral office administration, including filing, mail and documentationDiscretion and adherence to confidentiality policyAdherence to basic accounting principles and Canada Revenue Agency guidelinesIf you have the above qualifications and would like to support Wellsprings mission of helping individuals and families living with cancer, please apply to Eva Thurlow with cover letter and rsum at humanresources@wellspring.ca.
